No Email notifications even for subscribed threads....?

I don't seem to be getting email notifications for ANY thread that I participate in, or even for the ones I personally created.

I believe I have the checkboxes set properly, and my email is on file as part of my UserCP... does this site avoid sending messages to Gmail accounts?

Not seeing anything in my Spam or Junk folders, so I can only assume that the notifications aren't being sent at all.

Any ideas?

It certainly should be sending them. However, looking at the error logs, I see that they are failing.

Sadly, not a quick fix

Will have to call the host when I have some time to figure it out. Looks like a change on their side that made it incompatible with the forums email function.

I'm not sure what you did... but this morning I had a few email notifications in my inbox for the first time ever.

So thank you! Makes it SO much easier now.


Last Question: Is there an option that allows me to "automatically subscribe for updates" on new posts that I create as the author? That's not as critical as the email notifications... but would be nice to have.

There used to be a setting to enable auto subscriptions in the control panel, but as far as I know it is no longer there (Unless I am blind).

Email will sort of work currently. It will get throttled if too many go out, and they may be delayed. Though thats better than nothing I suppose.
