Are the springs on backwards? I can't remember when I put my new 4" springs on in November if they were longer one way. I do remember there was a front orientation though.
I was wondering about this too. I know the stock ones on the '63-73s are 32" from either end, centered. I would think that orientation would be determined first by whether or not the pin is centered (and thus shift the axle front/back), and second by putting the bigger bushing in the mount directly on the frame, and the smaller one on the shackle side.
This is the first thing I would check; I personally wouldn't mess with the longer shackles.
There are 2 major differences between new Wranglers and FSJs. FSJs are meant to be both utilitarian and capable, not just capable. FSJs are also rarely initially recognized as Jeeps by the average American.
I considered that but I think they're right. Bigger spring eye goes at the rear. That's what the Bj's instructions say but I'll call Deaver to confirm.

Still unresolved and I haven't contacted Deaver yet. More of a winter project for me. I haven't noticed it settling in more but I also haven't put many miles on it. Good luck.
