So after getting my dash wiring harness in I see I need the engine harness. I have a melted mess. J and W had my dash harness ( found using Car-Part.com. Used again and found no results. I’ve heard of some sources on the site, any recommendations for me to try?

At that point, I think I would just go with a new painless wiring harness. Its a lot of work just to put another 30 year old harness in. Yes, it will be a universal kit, so it will require a bit of work to adapt. But then you have a brand new harness with new relays.
I don’t need the “body” harness. It goes from the firewall to engine, starter, battery, coil, etc.
