Shout out to Harry Dawg and Rhino USA

Post by Yeller »

I’m a proponent of supporting not only our site vendors and sponsors but the companies and employers of our members. Harry Dawg is involved in the sales and marketing for Rhino USA, they have some really nice products and support many events across the country either with raffle prizes or being there in person.

I attended OCBR, Oklahoma Classic Bronco Roundup, this weekend. Rhino USA had supplied several fantastic raffle prizes, I won a really nice folding shovel! Thank you for the suport of a fantastic event! I will be purchasing more Rhino USA products in the future :D

Hey Yeller.
Thanks for the shout out!

What are the odds that a member of the FSJN that I consider a friend would win some Rhino USA gear?!? I guess this is the universe's way of repaying you for the hubs!

I haven't gotten to attend this event, but it is one of my favorite ones to be involved with. Kristine has always been a great coordinator, and they have the coolest event T-Shirts out of any club I've worked with.

Very glad to hear that you enjoyed your weekend, and that we were able to be a part of it.

If you have any pics post them up!

Thank you for the kind words Harry Dawg!

I’ve been involved with OCBR since 2000. They had to make a venue change last minute and put a call out for trail guides that I answered. I didn’t have a bronco at the time, just my classic 72 K5 that I had at the time. They were bummed about following a Chevrolet but by the end of the even was asked to return the following year to lead trails. I did that until 2004, life was in the way and I took an 8 year hiatus until I built the yellow Broncno in 2012, been attending ever since. Harry, next year is their 25th anniversary, you really should come out, your more than welcome to drive my Bronco and hang out, I promise you’ll be hooked and want to come back😎

You are also correct, Christine is top notch people :D

Here’s a few on our way there and views from the park, it’s a beautiful area.

Funny story, the hotel we stayed at charges for parking in the immediate lot around the building. I had paid and they were out of spots. They offered valet to make up for it, it was funny listening to the valet driver when he got back, he was a hoot.

Not much for action shots, I was busy LOL

Hah, thats pretty cool. Small world.

I have a tire repair kit and some deflaters from Rhino, have not used the repair kit yet, but the deflators do their job.

Nice Rig!

Now I know where the handle "Yeller" comes from lol.
It appears to be extremely capable, and the craftsmanship on the fabricated bits looks top notch.

One of the owners of Rhino just got a 2022 Bad Lands Bronco, so maybe I can talk him into taking it out for a rip on the trails. One of the guys at the So Cal location also has an OBS Bronco, but I believe he has it set up for the dunes.

It's always cool to see folks with a variety of different rigs, and I myself like to mix it up from time to time (though I will always consider Jeeps as #1)

See pics of the Rhino crew's Bronco's. Also I added a pic of my old '85 K10 just for shi-grins. It was on 14" of lift and 44" Super Swampers. I used to attend more of the rowdy mud events, but have recently been more interested in the more technical four wheeling.

Also, I want to extend a thank you from myself and Rhino for y'alls support.
It is people like y'all that keep us in business and doing what we love!

Haha yeah, I've always had yellow vehicles starting with my Tonka dump truck as a kid :P Been nick named Yeller since I started trying to go to college. If you are interested in more info on the Bronco, check out the link in my signature.

Offer still stands, make the visit and you have not only a ride but the opportunity to drive a very capable technical crawler that is extremely well rounded.
