Parts from a 1979 Chief

Post by 1978J10REDWHITE »

ust now am back from Round 2 cherry picking a 1979 Chief.
In my hand are:
1. Fan,
2. vlv covers (perfect),
3. The tailgate inside panel cover, .
4. PS pump w pulley & Bracket as pictured, .
5. L/R door exterior handles,
6. Inside handles, (need to recount all those what I have).
7. The Read tailgate "Cherokee" emblem (very nice condition).
8. Interior door handles.
9. Not certain what its called a holder ~ bracket mounts on vlv cover-manifold near brake booster),.
10. glove box door (good cond w ICON of Chief,.
11. All parts for the OEM roof mounted luggage rack,
12, Lic plate light piece
The misc vlv train component shown, and cyl heads NOT available "YET", will be after I refresh and swap mine out.
I have access to the L/R EXH manifolds will retrieve both next few weesk.
Parts below on rig 60+miles away from me so factor or fetch those yourself.
The L/R doors are fair w a little cancer starting yet salvagable cores!
Fenders cherry!
Hood I thinks salvageable will need Ironing out, but should straighten out. Hinges look Fine though.
Front rad grill support, roof, Both R/F axles, tailgate, glass minus TG are available.
A nice factory under bumper hitch, Q-Panels ok, F/R bumper~ F is a drive quality, R- seems very nice, Rims are after market wide spoke crappy things..
Block, TH400, and TC (Unknowmn type) in rig still.
Had an under hood fire so dash is lost.
I am just back haven't taken time to price out items completely yet, so maybe the Cherokee emblem $75, Fan-$5, Lic light piece $3.00 or throw in whomever wants it, pump assembly $20, Panel, $25, vlv covers $20, odd Holder piece $0.99cents, Handles $50 all I have, Glove box $30, ROOF rack $75.
Other items posted yesterday I will price soon.
Again, cyl heads & vlv component items TBD in few months.
I have more items , just haven't post inventory yet.
Like the Driver door wing window assembly, 4 nice hubcaps, tail light assembly, 4 arm rests, under dash blower asme piece, door handles internal ones, Have several ones so suspect some might not be jeep?, dash slide switch w cable, front windshield chromes trim all the way around, and read TG chrome pieces, only 1 set of window crank handle, Crankshaft pulley, .
Anything sark interest I'll send pix yet best thru email not forum.
Obviously you want their PIX so I will provide before deal is since, so you see what you get..
FCFS, and Im a bit slow handling things so be patient some here.

It's not on your list, but I'm looking for the stainless trim for the tailgate window, the one that goes on the next to the window felt. Would that be available?

If front bumper is 1-piece and in straight shape, I would be interested. Where are you?
One day I will wake up and realize that my jeep is complete...one day, I just know it.

I'm looking for a mounting bracket (2 metal pieces) and the plastic bushings for the 4WD floor shifter that mounts on the side of the trans tunnel.

Also looking for a Chief emblem.

Hi I'm interested in the tailgate access cover, also the small rectangular access covers by the floor just behind the doors if you have them. When you get a chance quote me a price with shipping to 85122.

Are the front fenders in good shape? And will they fit a j20? And do you still have them, mine are rusted out pretty bad.
