I need to start figuring out exactly which vehicle I'm bringing.
If it's the XJ, I have some work to do on it.

He's still overheating too bad. I will give it one more try with one more fix to see if I can manage to pull a grade without getting way too hot. But I'm not holding out much hope.

Oh yeah, we are getting close. I probably won't have the jeep but I will have my 'Ouray' groove.

Man I can't wait. I'm trying to unbury myself at work, and failing. Time off may appear counter productive, but it's time off.
1977 Cherokee S, Ford 5.0, 5 speed, BW 1356, 33 x 10.50 BFG's. No longer my DD.
2007 Mercury Milan, 2.3L, 5-speed, now my DD. 29 mpg average.

Yeah, it will be the second time I don't bring the Cherokee (or the Wagoneer). Logistically it wasn't working out for me. But I will have a pickup truck and can run some trails and hopefully bum some rides too. (Don't forget folks, I bring yummy snacks). One nice thing about being a passenger is you get to look around a lot more. One of my favorite days in Ouray was when I rode shotgun with Casey down black bear.

I hear ya and I am well aware of the awesome snacks that come out of the back of the Cherokee! Will just be good to see you and everyone again and will be good to get back to Ouray.
