So for those of us who are hopeful but wild cards at coming... is there a camping area near the KOA if we can't get a spot due to last minute arriving??
It's better to reserve a spot and then cancel 2 days prior if you can't go. The whole area gets over stuffed with Texans the entire month of July. Not kidding. If you make it you'll see.

3/4 resto, rotting faster than I've been fixing it.
But if you are not sure if you will be able to make it, try to avoid the key spots near the fire. We want those to be FSJ folks to reduce complaints about the noise.
Hey guys, I got word that there are only 3 spots left for us and the KOA needs to release 2 of them if we do not reserve them asap. The only sites left are 43, 44 and 49. Casey asked if we can keep 49 for us but the other two will be released. If you are even thinking about going, get a spot!

Could someone please snatch up 44?!!?! I'm a world class sleep-farter and I don't want the 2am giggle fest next door waking me up to be some random people I don't know.
Ted, I don't remember the exact cost, but it seems steep for camping until you get there and remember you're in heaven. I think it's usually about $50 a night for a tent site that allows up to 4 people, but it might be a little less.

Gotcha, thanks. I'm still hoping I can attend but it will depend on a lot of things falling into place. I'll probably just be a Klingon and find someplace to sleep in the Jeep or a tent. Come hang out or maybe hit an easy trail. Money will be tight so I'll be the guy eating MREs.
47D is up for grabs. I have heard that is the main celebration area. Someone should get in touch with that guy. He will not be there as he is in the military.

I had forgotten what site we were at but it looks like we are in 47A.
