I've never had any significant trouble with the jelly beans. The only frustration is when you get behind a line of them. Far too many of them are too chicken and need a spotter over too much stuff... while everyone else is stopping them to get a couple hundred pictures. Other than that, they're a friendly bunch so far as I've seen.
Yeah, I have had pretty good luck with the jelly beans too. Lot's of them ignore us. A few times they have come over to talk about the old FSJ's. The FJ is a nice platform so I have no problems giving their rigs compliments. Or I joke with them that 25 or more years from now they will be the 'old rigs' on the trail. It will be fun to count the number of snorkels. Hey! Maybe that is our theme: "2017 FSJ Invasion - Snorkle free zone".
Late check in is usually done by the staff leaving your info taped on the office door...that's how they did it for me this past year. Then just touch base with them in the office the next day.

No problemo Gabe. You actually making it this year? :p
I won't be there this year. My grandmother passed away in February and I'm going to spend a few weeks with grandpa and see what kind of mischief we can get into.

It's getting hot here in Phoenix! Still under 100 but the triple digits are sneaking up on us. I am already looking forward to some time in the San Juans!
