Great Smokey Mountain Jeep Invasion

Post by Harry Dawg »

Anyone going to be in Pigeon Forge next week for GSMJI? Going to be up there as a vendor, so y'all stop by and say what's up if you're in the area.

Too far for me, but have heard is a pretty good event. Pretty sure we had a few here go last year, as I recall photos.

@Stuka - I would say it's the largest aftermarket Jeep trade show on the east coast.
It is basically SEMA for off-road parts. All of the Le Conte civic center is jam packed with vendors, as well as the outside lots.
Everyone from Icon, Summit Racing, Mickey Thompson... all the way down to the under dogs like us show out for this one!

@Theodore - See you down there! Just look for the guys with in Gecko Green with a green Jeep. We are pretty hard to miss.

Jeeps of this year's Invasion.
There were 2 more FSJ'S at the entrance as I was going in Friday, but I had my hands full and couldn't snap a pic. Tried to document all of them. Also, I realize the last pic isn't a Jeep, but thought y'all might like to see this Corvair Crawler.
Event turn out was good, and we broke our company sales record for a 3 day event.
We went to the Ol' Smokey Moonshine distillery and got 3 jars of butter pecan for the Rhino crew to celebrate. Ended up going to a big after hours Jeep meet, shot off some fireworks and in general had a good time. Also networking with some of other industry folks was fun. Our Air BNB had classic arcade games in the basement, and we had running challenge on who could set the Galaga high score.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Lot of super cool Jeeps!

That hurst jeepster is really nice.

Matt’s corvair is pretty well known via his YouTube channel. Is a cool rig.
