I've seen good sets go for $300 - $350. One guy claimed he got over $600.

That's a big set of dies you'd have to make. What would that cost?

Personally, I can't see paying the price that these sell for nowadays, some are being sold for up to $1000. bucks! Absurd!. I think the money is better spent on the essentials like the long awaited Novak QT transfer case parts, getting your engine rebuilt, rusted parts eliminated/restored.....and the list goes on. BUT then again this is just my opinion and others may not feel the same. Here's a razor grill that's currently on EBAY and this one doesn't even come with the headlight surrounds, ridiculously priced!

Yes Big mold, one for the main parts and one for the headlight bezel. A chance bezel are same on both side bit. And cheese crater and Egg are very similar. Some technology exist for the mold.

Really 1000$? One time is possible to find a buyer, but a majority dont want to pay that. Grille on TGW or BJS are 300-500$

$1000? Seriously? There's a salvage yard here in Utah that has like 6 of the razor grills in great condition and they're cheap!
1982 Wagoneer Limited 5.3L Vortec 4L60E swap - finished/restored - sold - bought back - sold again
1979 Wagoneer 360 TH400 1339 QT - built into perfect daily driver - sold
1981 J10 Sportside Honcho - finished/restored - sold
1979 Cherokee Golden Eagle - 5.3L Vortec 6L80E swap - finished/restored - sold
1967 Super Wagoneer - sold, too much work

That's a NOS.

Also, that's what he wants. Not a bid.

BJ's isn't selling a razor. I might go $300 for a razor. Not a pignose.

Mold? You thinking of casting it? Original is stamped.

Bezels are different.

Exactly bezels different [UNAMUSED FACE]
I Will explore the two solution.
Grill is in aluminium, is that a treatment after : chrome? Anodized?

What does that mean? It's what he wants, it's not a bid? The point is he's asking that price plus $80 to ship and I'm just saying that's a steep price.

The CJ headlight surrounds work and I don't think you can see any notable difference between them and the one for the razor. I doubt you can make them for what the repop CJ bezels go for. Were the original razors had non-chromed polished aluminum verses chrome? Your target market would be that very few that wanted exact match for their concourse restoration. That is a VERY small market in the FSJ world..
If you could make and sell the grill in polished aluminum for $300 or less, I would be interested.

New Old Stock. I agree it's steep; probably won't get it except from someone doing a restoration.

OP is thinking about producing them and I wouldn't want him thinking that's the going price if he missed the fact that that was a buy it now.

CJ buckets work with a razor, bezels don't. They were all anodized. Some had black vertical lines, some didn't.

Wow - 304jeepjohn holds NOS items in the highest regards. $750 for a grab bar http://www.ebay.com/itm/301810590534

"found in old amc dealership" ... I can't imagine how awesome it would be to stumble into a treasure trove of NOS AMC parts.

Guess I could get brand new factory decals for my Golden Eagle... For $500... http://www.ebay.com/itm/301810595247

In the back of this picture I spy an NOS rear window manual crank.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/jeep-cherokee-e ... SwbdpWWgbB

Here's the rest of what he found http://www.ebay.com/sch/304jeepjohn/m.h ... pg=&_from=

Personally I'd go to a junk yard and find a decent condition grill for cheap, rather than paying $1k for a brand new one. It's just going to get weathered with use anyways if you aren't building an FSJ purely as a garage queen show car (and who does that, really.) I found my Rhino grill at a local antique store with the badge still attached and all. It has some light patina around the corners and I like that kind of thing.

I'd want it chromed, and if you made one for sale in the $200-300 range I'd buy it. Shipping something that size from Switzerland to Idaho can't be cheap though.

Chrome hooodbars are a rare FSJ part, so rare that I've seen two of them. And one is only in a picture.
