Wheel cleaners

Post by Yeller »

Ok I must confess. I’ve always looked at wheel cleaners as snake oil, or so acidic that you had to immediately spend hours polishing to seal the pours back up in the aluminum so it would stay clean or have to acid wash them weekly. These wheels were terrible, wish I had a before pick, they were literally black with old brake dust and crap that just would not wash off. I was ready to acid wash them and paint them. Not now, for a daily driver that gets used, they are now perfect. Wheel cleaners will be on the shelf in my garage moving forward. Now to order some new center caps that aren’t rusty lol
