37s on j20 factory 16.5s?

Post by Rockdrummer93 »

Just curious if anyone has ever run military 37” tires on factory 16.5” wheels on their J20? Any pics?

I am assuming you mean the tires that come on hummers.

People here have run them. The factory 16.5's are on the narrow side, so they really pinch the tires. You would probably need spacers in back to keep them from rubbing the leaf springs.

The tires themselves are not great, but they are cheap.

Yeah i have a set of the MTR patterned on the beadlocks that I plan to you. For what I’m doing with this truck I think it’ll be fine. If I have to run spacers I am okay with that

Ahh, the MTR style ones are better than the first or second gen goodyears that came on them.
