Have you contacted any body shops? The glass is certainly available, though perhaps backordered at this particular point in time.

I do work at a body shop. Problem is there is a shortage of materials to make glass, so more uncommon windshields are not being produced. All the usual suppliers are out of stock with no eta. Hopefully someone has an idea for me.

I bought a parts wagon just for the windshield and wheels. Or go to a salvage yard. It takes longer to get the trim off than to remove the window.

not too many salvage yards with FSJ... but thank you for the update on the supply chain... I guess time to pull a spare windshield if I see one!

Safelite did mine a few years back. They even had a new gasket in stock.

I tried safelite and glass America, they both said they were out of stock at this time. All the local glass companies told me the same thing. They all seamed surprised they couldn’t get one. Found a seller on eBay who hopes to have more in stock by middle of may. Lots of used ones available on car-part.com, if you trust a junkyard to ship a windshield. Im working on a few other sources.

I don't need one now but I guess I should order one.

When this thread started I did some searching. Found a site that would ship it to a sorta local place. Didn't pursue it to see if it was in stock. Have to look again. Prolly won't be able to find the site now.

I had a local glass place in the hood (you know, those little joints next to a salvage yard, usually also with a locksmith) do mine. Charged $350 they said it was a pain in the ass to install but it doesn't seem sourcing the glass was a problem

I called some random glass guy on Craigslist. He got the window and gasket within a couple days. I think the price was about 250. Installed. This was about a year ago though.
