Nope. Cut them then. Just covered and installed them in the last two weeks. Been sitting on the roof up until then.

'84 GW with Nissan SD33T, early Chev NV4500, 300, narrowed Ford reverse 44, narrowed Ford 60, SOA/reversed shackle in fornt, lowered mount/flipped shackle in rear.
our new ignition module and fuel pick up has us dependably on the road, we drove it 20 miles to the gun club this weekend, most of it at 55mph with no issues,
filled up another tank, the gauge appears to be reading correctly and confirmed we're at 8 mpg !!
with the 100 degree + weather and no a/c it's hard to build up the motivation to ride/drive or work on it,
we had a slight grinding/rough noise from the rear end after making hard turns, the two previous outings, short trips around town, I thought either a brake dragging or some thing with the differential but it never appeared on our weekend drive,
the front half of our new headliner is installed but of course is falling down now,
we still have the brake light illuminating so it will be bleeding the brakes again but fear it may be master cylinder or booster,
along with the numerous other items on the to do list,
Loved the Ouray pictures and now day dreaming how to get this rig to the top of a mountain !
