Front and rear bushings

Post by Lti57 »

Kind of confusing to me looking at websites showing the number of bushings for, let’s say the front.
I would count 2/leaf spring and one per shackle
For a total of 6 for the front
But most places i see sell 4 for the front
Am I missing something ?
Any way like always appreciate the wisdom from this forum

I just looked on BJ's website and they are showing six for the front and six for the rear. You have have four spring bushings for the front and four spring bushings for the rear. And then you have two shackle bushings for the front shackle and two shackle bushings for the rear shackle. So, that would be a total of six for the front and six for the rear.

It's all good. I do that kind of thing more than I would like to admit. It's like if you are at work and you ask someone to come over and help you with something that's now working. And as soon as they walk over it is seems to magically just start working again.

Yeah no doubt I am a retired Broadcast engineer
And we would do that all the time with each other after a bit of trying to figure it out ourselves.
Call the other engineer over and Bamm. He would see what I was missing
Appreciate your help
