Rear window keeps poping out of track

The rear tailgate windoe constantly pops out if track now. I dont know why its doing this. When i roll it down and slam the tailgate closed, it then pops out of the track on the passenger side.. i have to open the tailgate have a friend hold the safety arm roll the window up while they hold the glass and pry a screw driver in there to pop the oval shaped loop back inside the track.

Then itll roll down and up fine if i hold it the tailgate opem. But once i close the tailgate for real itll pop out of track again... it keeps constantly doing it.. how do i fix this ?? .

What about side channels condition? Might be worn and letting window wobble

Do you have inner window wipe on the tailgate? I think it helps keep window positioned right too

I figured out what it was. There are two flat bars that hold that window from going down too far. And they were bent downward half an inch or so allowing the window to roll down too far poping out of track. I grabbed them and pulled bending them upward and now the window doesnt roll down so far and pop itself out of track. Now it stays in track when rolled down and so forth

Does this make sense ?

Yes, it does. Have thought about those. Those stoppers should also have rubber parts on them to prevent metal window frame from slamming into metal stoppers when rolling down

No rubber on mine haha.. provly all rotten like every window channle seal ect

You can put a piece of rubber hose over those stoppers if you have something with matching interior diameter
