Anyone know where I can get a service or shop manual for my 1970 wagoneer?
Fuel filters may be on the driver's side frame rail between the tank and the engine, or some are hanging vertically along the front of the engine block front driver's side above the mech fuel pump (where mine was located when I purchased the vehicle...I still want to relocate mine).

As for the Factory/Technical Service manuals , Rockauto has the digital version: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 92&jsn=377

Faxon has digital and print versions here: http://www.faxonautoliterature.com/Search.aspx?c=32219

or you can ask in the Wanted section too, some folks have copies they will sell for less.

What is a TSM? I'm guessing technical service manual, but I'm not sure.

That's where the second $2000 will go. ;) Watch here, sometimes they pop up. And folks keep an eye out for them and post up if they are selling on on ebay and such.

Looks like they are not being reproduced. You could try Faxon in Riverside CA ... maybe they can locate one for you. Won't be cheap.

Oops, already posted.

Thank you for the information. I'll start wrenching this weekend to address some hard start issues. I suspect the diaphragm in the fuel pump is damaged, and fuel filter. While I'm at it, I'll change out plug wires, spark plugs (properly gapped) and set the timing.

Anyone know the gap for plugs on these 350 dauntless motors and timing procedure?

If using standard copper core plugs (R45TS), the Sun tune-up card for the Buick 350 shows a gap of .030" and a torque of 15 ft/lbs.

That is an awesome thing to find behind the seat, those look like they would be absolutely perfect on a set of whitewalls! You really nabbed a nice one!

Thanks Chubbinius for the info. I will have to locate some original steel wheels for the rig, so I can put them on. How is your waggy coming along? You're in SD right? I'm in Grass Valley, CA.

Glad to be able to offer some help, like so many on here have done and have helped me as well.

Yup, in San Diego. Mine is back up and running. Had to do some wiring work and replace the starter. I am still desperately hoping to come across a console to put back into mine...that's why I am admiring yours so much! Grass Valley is a ways up there, a hour or two west of Tahoe, right?

Yes, about an hour west of Tahoe. I'll keep my eyes open for one. Anything else you need?
