SHe has been in the shop since early Monday morning. The fellow said he would fix it. I have not heard anything so far so I guess that is good news! I think the church will aid me in getting the service paid for. Imma broke son of a gun....disability payments are not that good. I miss seeing my Jeep though, hopefully Ill get her back soon so I can take her for a nice drive
Got word today. Looks like a couple of lifters. He said the compression was good...lets hope the camshaft is not roached. 500$ parts and labor....should be able to pick it up Wednesday next week

Probably collapsed lifters... it happens, usually people say to replace all lifters and camshaft, when It happened to the 74 in the 20th century, I only replaced the lifters, and added another 150Kmiles until parked until I find a better body...

My wife and I talked, with the church helping, we can get it covered and hopefully back next week. I miss my Jeep but when I get her back, she will be running very well Then Ill go on a nice little camp out.....lots of pics too
