Duck Blind in shoppe

Post by HowardT64 » Wed Mar 25, 2020 11:45 am

SHe has been in the shop since early Monday morning. The fellow said he would fix it. I have not heard anything so far so I guess that is good news! I think the church will aid me in getting the service paid for. Imma broke son of a gun....disability payments are not that good. I miss seeing my Jeep though, hopefully Ill get her back soon so I can take her for a nice drive :)

Peace :)

Hope they can fix it up for you, and at a fair price.

Got word today. Looks like a couple of lifters. He said the compression was good...lets hope the camshaft is not roached. 500$ parts and labor....should be able to pick it up Wednesday next week :)

Probably collapsed lifters... it happens, usually people say to replace all lifters and camshaft, when It happened to the 74 in the 20th century, I only replaced the lifters, and added another 150Kmiles until parked until I find a better body...
