For tire size on the Jeep, a lot of people get away with 31's with no lift. It depends on the condition of the springs. You could always go down on size to 30x9.50, which is still an LT tire. 235 is roughly 28" tall, and many of them are passenger rated, which you don't want on a heavier vehicle.
OK That's good to know. I scored a full set of Toyota 15s on 235/75 tires which I will put on while its sitting and getting cleaned and repaired before I start driving it. When I go to buy new tires for it then I will probably go with 30x9.50s.
