I want to address my AC compressor bracket on my 89 Grand Wagoneer. Mine has a crack on a bolt hole. A new member has a York bracket and sent me this link
I have an inoperative Sanden on my 89., so if I need a new compressor, I want to fix the bracket situation. Will I need different belts with the original York bracket using the vintage air adapter? Any suggestions ( junk yard) or websites to find a direct replacement?
You can see where the bracket is cracked. Can it be repaired? Any input is appreciated, thanks.

Hard to tell from the picture if all the pieces are there,if so welding aluminum is common these days.the vintage air plate is just an adaptor to go from the old style York compressor to a sanden I don’t see how that will do you any good
I can get a York compressor bracket and was going to use the adapter for my Sanden, if I cannot find a Sanden bracket. I will investigate repairing mine.

I may be able to find you a factory Sanden bracket. I am going to pick up some parts in the middle of next week if you aren't in too big of a hurry. It's about a two and a half hour drive for me, but I am willing to to just charge you the cost it is for me plus shipping, because I am already going there and picking up parts for some customers anyways. And I can even bead blast it for you for no charge if you want since that doesn't take much for me to do that on a piece that small. That way I can verify there aren't any stress cracks starting to form before I send it to you. Just message me if this sounds like something you are interested in. Thank you.

Sounds great Josh! Pm me when you have it!
Will do. And just to be clear, you are talking about the big bracket that the AC compressor mounts to, right? It has the two bolts that mount to the compressor and the other bolts and a stud that mount to the engine? Just want to make sure, because that is the more expensive of most brackets when it comes to mounting the Sanden compressor. I want to say I have asked him before, but it should be under $100 or right at that from what I recall.
