Thanks for setting this up Bob. It wasn't that hot. We camped at over 5200 feet. About like Prescott.

Trust Ralph to be the one that can't park his rig right in the line up.
I bet he had memories of his naval tradition... He thought he was getting parking assistance (tug boat) to nudge him in :D

I am so bummed i missed this one.

You were missed Martin but the trail ride was short. ;)

Well, I am gonna post one picture for the record and move on from the HEI madness. Starting to recover from the trip and anxiety of technical difficulties now. :)

Now hear this. A big Thank You goes out to Bob and his family for putting up a bunch of shady FSJ characters for a good part of Sunday. They provided hamburgers, hot dogs, mac salad, chips, lots of water, beer, rabbit food (carrots and stuff), dip and slew of other stuff for us to munch on while we got to visit. Bob had the twins wash Phoebe for the photo shoot at the school and he went around and touched up some paint with his secret stash of white and plum crazy paint. We are honored to have made it there. I think I got to visit with just about everyone for a little bit. Also had a nice visit with Jim as I rode with him in his very sharp WT Cherokee out of camp that morning. Krista got to ride shotgun in the EvilTwin with Bob. The trailer ride had certain benefits beyond getting Phoebe back to town. :-bd We really did have a good time with FSJ friends and family. It was great to get to be there! :fsj:

Another Big Thanks to everyone who jumped in to troubleshooting and the ride with Ralph to the border town for parts. Last, huge Thanks to Tad for putting us up and keeping us fed and hydrated. 8-)

In spite of ignition trouble, we traveled 1111 miles on 90.35 gallons of fuel with an average of 12.3 mpg.

Yes, next time let's do this at the end of April. ;) :fsj:
