I just finished my baby LS 4.8 swap into mine, but retained the stock 727 and transfer case by using an advance adapter 716131-V.

How did that work for you? Looking at doing the same thing with my 91. Was the V8 torque converter an issue? what motor mounts did you use? Did you have to move the trans/tcase at all? Tv cable worked out? I can't find anyone who's done this so sorry for the questions.

Hey no problem. This is why I documented the swap. Because I couldn't find definite answers. Click the link in my signature. The swap starts on page 5 I think. The cable is the lokar 727 cable attached to the throttle body with a small arm. You'll need a drive by cable setup to make it work. I left everything that was still original to the Jeep in the original spot.
