Fitech 400 now Fuel supply infamous side mount PU sender float

Post by badaboom »

Well next a fitech 400
Need best way to supply fuel to system - Prefer in-tank fuel pump for the EFI.
My 1981 Jeep J10 uses the original fuel tank Poly with side mount sender PU and float system.
Most the in-tank fuel pumps for EFI I see are for top mount systems.
Anybody with experience with the side mount or issues or not surrounding this
please let me know. Any preferred in-tank pumps for this application please let me know.
Thanks in advance

I would use an aftermarket pump/setup.
Make a hole on top of tank with pump straight down.
tanks inc. makes good stuff for efi

Modifying/installing something via side probably be huge hassle?

Heck maybe just go with external pump. top pump and create opening sounds like a can of worms.
almost would want make a removable panel in the bed to get to pump...
