Starting problem

Post by nwkaustin »

Hey Guys- I have a problem when I start my engine. Not when I cold start it in the morning. But instead warm start it. I had a Holly Sniper installed. So a few weeks ago I started to notice that my 1987 GW with a 360 was starting with a fast rev. Now it is a fast rev and then it shuts down. If I start it once or twice then it will start. Any thoughts.

Thanks!!

Neal

Are you waiting the 3-4 seconds it takes for the sniper to turn on, before cranking the starter?

I would say most of the time I am. But I will double check this week just to make sure.
