Can you tell how far the receiver is below the frame? I have a Ford F150 rear bumper on my truck and I think it might drop a little lower than the original Jeep bumper. Also, how do you get the FSJ discount? Thanks

It is 5" bellow the rear X-member. Yes, everyone on FSJ.net gets 10% returned [but you have to send me a reminder]. Also, note the additional Shipping charges West on Mississippi.

Re: J10 J20 2" tow hitch now available 1976-87
Received the hitch yesterday and got it installed last night. Pretty straight forward installation although I did have a custom exhaust that required notching out the corner a little bit for clearance. I also used the extra two bolts and drilled to the tab that extends up beside the actual receiver which contacts the rear cross member of the frame. Only issue was on my side where that rear cross member was bent by PO. I did my best to straighten it when rebuilding but figured it wouldn't matter. I was able to bend that tab to get it to fit my bent cross member and bolted up.
I haven't pulled anything yet but I will say that Hitch is BEEFY! I am excited to have a solid hitch and glad I didn't have to go some universal fit route. Thanks Rocklaurence for a solid product.
