Full Size Jeep Network

Hello FSJeepers!
Putting it out there for a fall campout with trail run for October. Giant Gap is located in the area of Colfax/Foresthill right on a large lake. There are a couple mild but scenic trails nearby and a sketchy 1 lane bridge. Campground has water, toilets, and accommodates up to 40' RVs. Weather should be highs in the upper 70s lows in the 40s. Anyone interested? JEEEEEEEP!

are camp grounds still open there at that time? They start shutting down here at around that time for winter. What is the altitude there? Where we normally camp here come October lows are starting to get into the upper 20's. We are camping this weekend and lows will most likely be down into the 30's. But we may be at a slightly higher altitude.

I have never been up that way before though. So I am a tentative.

That's the last weekend they are open. Looks like we'll have the place mostly to ourselves and could get some spots together.
