No, I'm still here in Melbourne just busy all of the time. Putting a 400 hp 350 in my truck as that 454 just put off too much radiant heat. What's going on over there? Jim

I can sure use some help every once and a while. I will be fabbing up my new engine mounts this weekend so I'll p.m. you my number. It will be a couple of weeks before my new heads will be here where I can start it up.

What! You can't beat the "Cool Factor" of a Chevy big block and vintage AC.
I'm putting a NP229 twin-stick and Wagoneer tow hitch on the market this month--Yeh!
That 454 just fills up the engine compartment and with no air movement to keep it flushed out under the hood it just radiates through the firewall. When it still had its 350 Buick engine it always was cool in the cab and the a/c would freeze you out on the hottest day. It should be a lot more tolerable with the new engine and parts will be at any parts counter.
Today Brian (Alienature1515) and I put the new cam, lifters, water pump, pulleys and oil pan on the new engine. My power steering pump showed up today after waiting 3 weeks through the USPS. I pick up my new vortec heads Monday and the intake is on it's way so next weekend we should be able to put it in and start it up.
