Invasion 2020 (The lost year) Ouray Mountain Rescue dontation

Due to the unique circumstances of 2020 we didn't have a raffle or shirts to create donations to the Ouray Mountain Rescue. For several years we even had OMR volunteers show up at the pot luck and sell merchandise, with great enthusiasm and support from the FSJ group. (And the OMR LOVED the food).
This year our beloved Gabe kicked off donations during his short time hanging with the group. Later in the week we did collect some cash around the campfire on Thursday. Thank you to everyone who kicked in! We ended up with $300 for OMR. The glass shop still supports the acceptance of donations and continues to provide a space where OMR merchandise can be purchased. I was honored to stand in for Casey and present the donation for OMR and represent the group.
Around the campfire we agreed on a theme for the brick for 2020.
2020 Full Size Jeep. The lost year.
They make it easy to donate so if you were not able to attend or didn't have cash on hand you can still help out. I imagine even small donations add up and help out a lot.

We've been lucky in our 18 years of Invasions we haven't needed the skills of these fine volunteers who, at times, risk their own lives to help others in need.
Our support of this group exemplifies the spirit of our loosely connected rag tag folks who make up the FSJ community and the FSJ Invasion. Thank you.
