Yes... and no. Ten years ago almost all of the trails seems more stock friendly. But in the last few years a lot of the trails have gotten more difficult.

That being said, yes, there are some trails you should be okay on. Folks will guide you depending on the current conditions. And often times you can ride along with other folks too.

Something to consider. I am beginning to doubt I will be coming this year. Everyone has decisions to make.

Would you start planning for next year then or is it too early? I might be done with my Jeep for next year.

You know, that's a good question. Normally we set the date during the current year's invasion. Let's see how it goes. I notice the KOA has not cancelled my reservation yet. Of course I am hopeful that the restaurants will be open for business. I think of "Maggie's kitchen", that poor guy is operating on a slim margin and really only busy during the summer season. During peak times there is always a line and it would be difficult to 'social distance' on the patio.

If there is a place to stay I will show up. If the local businesses are 'take out' only I will do my best to support them. Maybe Casey and I can pick up a few 'growlers' at the Ouray Brewery.

Are most of you folks still planning on showing up? With this virus thing maybe we can work that into the 'theme'.

I don't know about July. Or June. Who does? Who got the magic 8 Ball?

I do know I am getting fed up with visitors coming to recreate in the area and playing stupid with what is open and closed.

Just 47 days till the invasion starts. Remember the KOA reservation policy has changed and you have to pay in full 30 days in advance.

Limited seating at Restaurants:

https://www.ouraynews.com/covid-19-news ... ies-plates

Maggie's is open and so is MR GRUMPY PANTS! (He's only doing to go orders)

I am going to do my best to support the local businesses. I'll probably eat out a bit more often.

The KOA wants full payment 30 days in advance. I hope you make it this year. I have a feeling it will be a smaller and more intimate group.

Got it, that makes it by Father’s Day weekend.
My decision will be made off of what is happening with the virus, that’s why I’m not optimistic.
With my health concerns (I have been tested negative and will get tested again next week) I’m not putting myself out there for any reason.
I’m also very doubtful the KOA can provide for basic hygienic sanitation, I’ve seen these bathrooms and such since 2003, it’s sub-par at best, and the fact they tried to scam the system leaves me with no trust for the new owners at all.

That totally makes sense Tad. They claim they are doing sanitations several times a day but it's not worth the risk. I have a cabin again so one good wipe down and since there is no room service I should be good to go. Also, I am not in a high risk. I am just young enough, no chronic conditions and my regular Camelback hikes means my lungs work pretty good too.

I am going anyway, unless something other than COVID-19 happens. Missed last year 'cause the throw out bearing in my car decided to rapidly disassemble itself.
