Hello
Does anyone have a baffle that attaches to the bottom of the intake manifold on the AMC-Jeep V-8"s? I just pulled an aftermarket intake from my 304 to replace gaskets and it is missing. I have been wondering why I'm getting oil sucked in through the PCV valve??? Here is a picture for reference. You can email me at GB3440@yahoo.com or reply here.
Thanks!

Re: Intake Manifold Underside Baffle
Hopefully somebody has one. I am not aware of any aftermarket solutions for it. And it most certainly would cause you to get oil through the PCV.
If you have a non-EGR intake, you can get away with just the rear section. Which I have seen people hand make out of sheet metal. But this shield is really important if you have a functioning EGR, as the oil will cook on the bottom of the intake over time.
Also, do note that there are two styles of that baffle. A non-EGR baffle will not work on an intake with EGR. The photo you posted is an EGR style.

Re: Intake Manifold Underside Baffle
Thanks for the info Stuka. My intake is the EGR style. As you stated, if I cannot find one I'll probably fab something up.

Found the part. Adam from Jeep Recyclers had it. Great folks to deal with.
