Looking for shift indicator parts

Post by TimGee » Thu Apr 29, 2021 8:29 am

Hello,

I'm new to the forum and my wife is a proud new owner of a 1987 Grand Wagoneer. It's in surprisingly good shape but it has some issues. The main one is I have the shift indicator bezel on the steering column but no needle. I opened it up and it looks like all that's there is the bezel, no other parts other than the square hole on the column that I'm guessing the needle sits in. I searched the forum and discovered that one member, 'Men in Black' 3D prints the needle. I don't have PM privileges so I can't contact him so I'm hoping this will bring me to his attention. I'm also wondering if there are any additional parts neccessary to get the indicator working. Thanks all. We're very excited to be owners of this great GW. Here's a pict!

Welcome, Tim! Another option-you can post in Men in Black's vendors thread here-https://www.fsjnetwork.com/forum/viewto ... rs#p188786
You can ask him to PM you if you can't send him a message as a new member. Eric makes shift indicators for a range of years. Hope that helps.
