5.7 hemi builder?

Post by tedlovesjeeps71 »

Since I'm done with the hemi and it'll need more money than I have I figured I'd see if anyone wants it. It's free. You just have enough to come get it soon so I can get it out of my Suburban.

Coming up north any time soon? I still have some burb hoses and filters that are yours if you want them. I'd might toss in a 401 core for your hassle.
79 J-10 (Honcho Mucho) KE0LSU
304/Performance Fuel Injection TBI/MTA1/SP2P/Magnum rockers
T18/D20/D44s&4.10s/33" Mud Claws
Grizzly Locker Rear
4" front spring drop, 5" rear shackle flip
Chevy style HEI (ECM controlled)
Dolphin "Shark" gauges in a fancy homemade oak bezel
3/4 resto, rotting faster than I've been fixing it.

FWIW, it is rebuildable. Mild bore, oversized pistons, a set of heads.... Surprisingly the two roached pistons didn't damage the cylinder walls as I'd have thought.
Hate to just toss it but I know I won't be building it.

If you want it I can always dump it at my storage and throw a tarp over it until you happen this way. I won't be making many trips anywhere until I find a job. Stupid gas prices have gone nuts.
Funny you mention a 401. There's my bad "core" sitting next to the hemi in the suburban. Haha. Who can ever throw away one of those!
