For future reference

Post by REDONE »

When I submit tech articles can they include pictures and or videos? Soon I'll get back to work on my fab write ups now that I'm moved into my new place, I just have to get my truck advanced to the point that it needs the bumper next. Also, I'm going to redu Careys body work and painting write up since all the picture links are dead. Since the motherboard is already on borrowed time I'd like to put them up in your tech archives. I will host the media in my photobucket if you don't have the server space, that's no problem. I just saw that the tech articles you had there were all text.

In regards to Careys write up, I'll only use his text if he ever replies to my attempts to contact him, otherwise I'll just give him props and completely rewrite it instead of just putting my pics in place of his dead links. He never replied to my e-mails to his e-mail he used to join IFSJA, but I think I've found him on FB. When I'm to the point that I have the space to paint my spare hood to replace the pics of the hood he painted for his write up I'll try to get ahold of him again. I'm not asking you to be an accessory to plagiarism. ;)

TIA!

Sorry I wrote so much the questions got lost:

Can your tech library support pics and/or videos, either locally or through links?

I had meant to answer that and got side tracked :P

Yes, images can be incorporated into the article itself, and hosted from the main site.

As for video, they can be imbedded if hosted on YouTube or the like, but I cannot currently host them myself.
