We greet the Pacific

Post by fulsizjeep »

It is Throwback Thursday! :-bd

10 years ago we took Phoebe on a road trip and Krista got to meet the Pacific Ocean. We didn't care that Phoebe was only getting 13-15 mpg and we had to go.

For a second I thought you just did this, and didn't let me know! I glossed over those few lines and looked at photos :)

Looks like it was fun! Always love visiting that area.

LOL! Didn't mean to do that Brandon. ;) We will certainly be in touch next time. My dad's parents retired on an acre of prime farming turf in Watsonville in 72. I have had many trips out that way since 73. Sadly, I have not been back since this trip. It was a memorial event to my grand parents and we laid their ashes on the rocky slopes just above the ocean at Pt Lobos. It was a memorable trip coming through 102 temps in farm country in CA and the AC crapped out. We came back home through Half Moon and San Francisco back east. My son lives in the bay area and hope to get a visit with him before too long.
