Kudos to Blake's wife on most those pictures. :-bd

Had some nice scenery on the way home too.

Glad you had fun.

Try doing stuff like that in a SWB Jeep. We typically hook straps to the back so we don't go end over end :)

Tad - I hear ya and am happy to say the brakes were one thing that worked great. I had good spotters that day. That drop caused something to suck up in my backside and it hasn't come out yet. :D

It was real good fun! It came with a price but the day on the trail made up for it. I have the entire fuel system out of this junker and the only thing I can find wrong is the 1/4" metal return line is clogged. The filler hoses are toast too. Hopefully BJs has them in stock. I will run a 5/16 rubber return line back to the tank... I also removed the old charcoal canister vent line that was plugged and tied to the firewall by the heater box. Also need to find a vented gas cap. I am convinced the fuel system was pressured to a point where the carb was the only place for it to go. So, yeah - regulator and new pump filter too.

So I take it you have an electric pump? How much pressure does it put out at what volume? I can certainly see having a plugged return line causing this issue. I don't think a pressurized system would though. Every new EFI car has a pressured system (required by emissions).

The pump is rated at 2.5 to 5 psi.
