Intro level trails close to Denver

Post by sgtpoliteness »

Hey guys, I'm wondering from you local fellas, if there are any trails that match the description in the title? I'm totally green when it comes to off-roading, but the wife and I are always looking for nice day drives. And by local, I mean ones are that are within a couple hours from here. Thanks! :fsj:

There are tons of trails near Denver.

You might consider running bunce school road. http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=123

Y'all got much snow up that way? The trails around here over 7000 feet have pretty good bit of snow.

all the trails in summit county are gated up and closed til spring. but come summer id love to get out and hit some trails. Peru Creek, Webster Pass, Shrine Pass are all easy but can be fun. and all within 2 hours from denver.
