I like the look too. Rims look like 90s American Racing but I forget the model name. I remember that rounded rim shoulder look from that time. They look cool with those tires!

Its funny, I just saw a Chevy with a set of the same rims in 6 lug.
The more I look, the more I feel that I have finally found the perfect rim for her.

I think the front of the tool box caught on her car. There's a little scrape on the bottom corner of the door, and the cab corner is pushed in, but the box took the most of it. The door hinge was riveted on and it sheered all of the rivets.
I am pretty sure it can be massaged back into place.

Wow, bummer that it damaged your door and pushed that corner up. Hopefully you'll be able to coax the corner back out. Glad you or the truck weren't damaged worse.

Got paid, so first thing was to fix the box so I can use it again. It has the pull out shelf for my welder.
I got 2 gallons of flat black matte and a gallon of bedliner. Now I just need enough TIME to get it done. She is getting better front fenders and hood, which will give me the bottom front corners of the fenders to finally build a front bumper.
Hoping to get it painted in the next few weeks.ImageImage

OPINION, what do you guys think of the Dodge mirror? Should i keep trying to mount them, or are they going to look goofy?
I like them for their function, they have always been my favorite out of everything I've ever driven.ImageImageImage

Not much to update visually.
Got the inside of the bed and leading edge of the boxes bedlined, when weather is right I'll do the rockers as well.
Just replaced the steering box with a Borgensen HD box, new power steering pump, and rebuilt the hydroboost chasing slop and leaks. Next will be to upgrade the steering links.
Got a second Sanden compressor just like the original plugged, greased, and ready to weld mounts onto the plate I mounted on the engine. Air tanks are ready to install, just need time, lol... This will give me the ability to dump my airbags when I roll up to a job so I can see into the top boxes, and air up for the road.
It will also need rear shocks. Can anyone with experience suggest a heavy duty shock that might last hauling 9k#s daily?

Man, I see you've had some adventures. Still looking good. I wish I had a recommendation on shock choices. I run a set of bilsteins, but I don't carry your kind of weight around regularly.

Hey Martin, good to hear from you.
I have air bags on the rear, and it helps, but still get bounce. It has Bilsteins on it now, I will probably just get them again. It's what was on it when I got it.
I got a Cadillac air compressor mounted and working. I can now air up and down at will. Next will be to mount and plumb the other ac compressor and mount and plumb the tanks.

No recommendations from myself beyond the Bilstein 5100s I run, but I am way below the weight class you are swinging in.

Question for you with the steering upgrades- did you do them sequentially? How did you like the HD box?

I did it all over a weekend. The box is doing awesome, but it showed me how worn out all of my tie rod ends are, so I still get more wander then I want, but hope to replace them all soon. The box is much beefier at the input end. I had to do a banjo fitting on the pressure side to clear the radiator.

Not much done to the truck lately but driving. I did pass 50,000 miles on it in this configuration.
