I have TOO many FSJ's but couldn't pass up the excellent work done by the PO out of New Mexico by way of Cali. Birth year 1969 with nicely done LS swap and re-wire. Needs paint and interior work.. mechanically brakes will need an upgrade down the road ( re-done drums for now).
Looking for ideas on the paint color but thinking deep blue with brown smaller wood grain set-off with aluminum\stainless side trim. Front and rear bumpers are forthcoming as well. Vintage Air is on the short-list for this spring.

I want to upgrade my steering, axles & brakes on this ole lady. Are there aftermarket bolt in options (time and fab skills are an issue, money is mostly not) for axles that will get me upgraded braking? I am aware of hydroboost braking and would look at that during the conversion. I am strongly considering making this my dailey vs. buying a replacement for my 2014 RAM that I currently drive, hence spending what may seem like stupid money on a serious upgrade is acutally much more tolerable than the $65-90k I keep seeing for the trim level of trucks I've been eyeballing again.
Boy is that a clean engine bay! I would love to get more angles/details. I also have Vintage Air installed in my rig and am looking at doing a newer drivetrain.
One day I will wake up and realize that my jeep is complete...one day, I just know it.

Hi all. been busy too many projects and hunting season and all!
I have some Dana 44s being finished up with 4.10, 4 wheel hydro brakes and more. Hope to have them installed before January is up. I think I have decided on Canyon Sunset Orange from Chrysler for the paint. Once I get my 79 Chief out of body\paint in January this one will go in for a little body work and paint itself.
Next up is either the 63 (primer) J200 or 69 (blue) J3000.

69 Waggie is coming along nicely.. running a little longer than I had hoped... need to find some new wheels soon! Hydroboost brakes, shocks and Mercenary Offroad front and rear bumpers are next!
BUT accumulating parts for the 63 J200 build.. L86 with LT5 cam, 8l90e and trans case from 2018 Denali going in it.
79 401 Chief is in for paint now. Getting Dodge\Chrysler F8 dark green with black lower and sail panels.

Good to see some updates. I suppose when you have three FSJ projects going at the same time, they may go a bit slower than you may want
Ummmm. I didn't mention my 70 Jeepster and 69 J300... TOO much going on for sure.
