1989 Grand Wagoneer

Post by Christofe »

Hi there,

As this seemed to be the only fully dedicated forum I founded i thought i would present myself

Christofe from Belgium / Europe

I recently bought a bone dry 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, wich hasn't drive since 2014 (date of import to Belgium).

Since then :

- new power steering pump
- new gas cover gasket
- all fluids
- air pump system gone
- cruise control system gone
- alarm gone
- re-done the vaccum lines

I will let you evaluate the state of this car, but as far as I inspected and worked on it the is not a signle spot of rust :D

Has had a quick (bad) respray job  , completely fadded wich will be bring back to life with the correct paint treatment.

I'm actually looking for the following parts to complete de rebuild/restart :

- 4*4 vaccum switch

Very nice! Welcome to the forum & greetings from East Tennessee!

Love the color; you don't see Sand colored GW's very often. Would love to see pix of the interior to compare; especially the contrast of carpet color vs. upholstery; ours is in marginal shape; am working on restoring it to original.

Welcome from Phoenix Arizona. Your Wagoneer looks like a very nice find. The cleanliness and lack of rust is impressive.
