The blue stripe tires really set off the subtle green paint :D

I was just running through your build and noticed the ECU box you had. Any information on that? I was hoping to mount mine behind the firewall but it would be much easier to find a well protected way to mount it in the engine bay

Mine is a pretty small connect and cruise that I am mounting just below the evaporator box. it should be out of the way of the passengers feet. I didn't really want to mount it in the engine bay.

Are you putting anything on the sides? I don't know what you would put inside, but the thin metal side molding from the same period as your rig would really pop on the green!

Awesome build, btw.

Also curious about your trans cooler brackets. Did you make those? It looks very clean!

Yep, custom fabbed!

Think I should've gone with a bigger trans cooler but we will see how the temps get

Is this a personal vehicle or a shop project that will be sold?

What are the plans for the interior?

Looks awesome!

I've been running SpeedHut Can-Bus gauges for several years now with no real issues. The only down side to them is the inverter for the backlighting. It's just no quite as durable as it should be (and knowing SpeedHut, they've updated it since the last time I replaced mine). Mount the inverter so it's easy to get to, and install connectors so it's easy to swap out, and you'll be fine. The gauges themselves have proven to be bulletproof, and SpeedHut's customer service is first rate.

How do you get a custom installed white wall? I've never heard of such a thing.

lots of work to do still.

But it's coming along, the interior is taking quite a while, have to sort out the front driveshaft, then break everything in!

This transfer case has been more of a headache than it's worth I think.

Also gauges are done as well as dash pad :)

Are you going to be adding wood paneling? Or striping or anything? I love the green, but it almost feels like it needs to be toned down a bit. I think even hubcaps and cleaning the white walls will help. Cool rig though. What did you cover the dash in? Is that alcantara?
