What part of Houston are you in?
I may need to come up and pick your brain about a few things...
I am trying to finish wiring mine. Then I have fuel, cooling, trans linkages, tcase, exhaust, etc. All the little stuff that adds up and takes forever.
What fuel hoses/lines did you go with? Lots of people running braided AN lines, and a lot running plastic. I am not sure which way to go. I have the blazer tank, pump, and vette regulator. I just need to decide which lines to use so I can order it all.
Keep it up!

I ended up running the nylon lines and dorman nylonc fittings. I built a little fixture to hold the fuel line while I used my bottle jack to press the fitting into the tube. They go pretty easy, but too hard to do by hand without heat. From what I read, heat is a no-no. Im out in Katy. I wouldn't waste the money on braided or an fittings. Ive got maybe $100 into the line and fittings. Heck you could probably plumb your whole system with my leftovers. Ill make you a good deal.
And yes, the little things take a while. Started building exhaust last night. Then on to tcase shifter and finally belly skidplate. Keep going, you are so close! Believe me, when it fires off, its music to your ears.

Road tested yesterday, success! Got about 50 miles under her. Amazing how fast this thing is now. and overdrive is pretty darn nice, 1900 rpms at 70 mph
Best part, getting home and finding zero leaks!
O and spent about 6 hrs Sunday adapting the np208 flag shifter linakge to the np241c. I do not recommend this to anyone. Total PITA! But, it does work.
Ill have to get back with you on type of headlights, but I didn't upgrade anything. Im sure it'll burn down on me someday, but probably not from the headlight wiring.
Thanks! Pics and vids from shake down run. Driveshaft was getting into the trans shift linkage and ended up bending the shift shaft pretty good and the lever arm. New shaft installed and modified the lever so that its out of the way. Rounded out the upgrades with a TT's Fabworks steering box brace. Nicely made piece! Headed to Ouray Thursday!!

Can't wait to see pictures from your upcoming Ouray trip! Are you ONLY going to Ouray or are you going to explore some of the harder trails while you are here? Would love to meet you if you get over to the front range side of the mountains at all. We could possibly get a Colorado FSJ meet and greet planned out if it could work out.
What are your thoughts if any of the BJ's motor mounts? Would you do them again? I am considering them and haven't seen anyone else use them.

Been a handful of people here use them. But I have not seen any comments as to how good or bad they are.
