Help identifying parts

Post by ejeffrjr »

I had my '87 painted. The painter removed some parts and I don't know where they go? Can you help please?
The brackets were labelled for the door: Large for front, small for rear. The rubber trim strips: No clue. Thanks!

Just figured out that the brackets are to cover wiring in the door jambs... Still stumped on the rubber trim strips

The strips go above the door opening on the body side. Open the door and look at the top of the door opening perimeter, there should be some small holes. That’s where they go. Looks like you have two rears and one front.

If you need another front one I’ve got one.

I would say now would be a good time to replace if they are in bad shape. The new ones from BJ's are really nice
