1977 Wagoneer

Post by JA77Wagoneer »

I just wanted to say hello and thanks for the knowledge I have already gotten from this forum. I purchased my first Jeep a 1977 Wagoneer about a month ago and have been going through it to make it drivable. It will need a lot of work going forward as it had been sitting for many years. It has a fair bit of rust and is missing the whole interior minus the seats. I'm near Portland OR and the rainy season is approaching so trying to get it sealed up now. From my reading on the forum, it seems like a lot of the seals aren't available or don't fit correctly. Any advice or suggestions on places to look for new window seals, felt and door seals?

Welcome, yes some of the seal are not a perfect fit... but they can be made to fit... the window weatherstrip from bjs work, the door surround rubber is a bit tricky because it is a bit thicker... do a search and see what has been done, one example
