Here’s the filter, it comes in multiple colors.

This is the tube and fittings. It comes with a crappy filter that is too large. This is also available in multiple colors. I bought it for the rubber fittings and the aluminum tube with the bend in it. Used this on several swaps, just cut to length, super simple.

I’m looking at going to aftermarket heat and ac. If I do I’ll relocate the battery to the firewall and build an air box that draws air from the grill. Until then the open element will do.

It’s worth it to not get your arm pinched when the glass flops around :banghead:

More progress. Window seals are done along with new armrests. Still going to do new door panels, have material that matches the seats.

Might incorporate a small strip of padding along the inside of the window ledge, for those nice days driving with windows down :)

The new wipers take care of that. They completely cover the window opening with the window down.

Yes they are good days😎 times like this week 100* and 80% humidity really makes me want AC. But unless it’s just miserable I’d rather have the windows down.

Got the drivers side door panel done :D

No I’m not changing professions but am happy with the results. Managed to not get any wrinkles, even though it looks like one in the pic, it’s just a reflection.

I used some 1/16” Lexan material that I had left over from a race car that I used to work on. Worked well. Eliminated the need for a vapor barrier between the door and panel. It does have to be sanded to have enough tooth for the adhesive to stick thoroughly. It’s very durable and easy to work with. We use it for body panels on the WERock cars that I used to work on. Actually at a rock crawling competition this weekend spotting for an amateur team, going to be a hot, sticky, sweaty, fun weekend:D

I really enjoy spotting for the amateur teams, it’s low pressure and fun. I really feel pressure when I do it for a pro team, if I make a mistake, I could cost them a championship.

Thanks!

All the gear fits packed away nicely. Need to add a few lashing rings for a couple of straps to keep things from moving around but it fits well.
