Yeller wrote: Thu Apr 21, 2022 5:43 pm I’m not sure what it’s worth, it looks nice but does have 2 broken springs on the drivers side so it’s a bit of sitting in a hood. I’d probably throw in the brackets too. Where are you? Freight might be an issue from a cost stand point. Shoot me a PM with you number and I’ll call so we can discuss if your interested.
Ok,

I thought you bought these somewhere new, maybe online.

I am in AZ so probably not worth current freight cost to get shipped.

Thanks but will look local, and figure out something here.
My bad, I thought you were asking about my bench that is coming out. Yes they will probably bolt to the sliders, it bolted to the bracket for my bench. These are from PRP seats and are their Daily Driver high back seats. They are completely configurable for fabrics.

Yep, as I have bucket seats with separate arm rest, looking for something reasonable to bolt in when ready to drive it. Maybe this fall, but hope to have it running before then.

Desert heat has not been kind to the interior on Pig, and what I WANT to do vs what I have funds TO do with it, are right now very far apart :)

Saddle blankets might be the ticket for awhile.

Thanks again.....and like your project. Nice looking truck!

Thanks!

Just about done with the the exterior fab projects. Still need to do some rocker guards. There is a bunch of electrical to do yet, am putting together a stand alone harness for winch controls, charge stations, trailer brakes and I’m sure stuff I’m forgetting. Interior is up too as soon as the seats arrive.

Earning its keep. Dragging the drag leveling out ground. There is something calming about working dirt.

Who needs a shiny new truck to have a bed light? they were all the rage over 50 years ago :D

I I'm guessing at originality. it was there prior to the repaint and the hole it is mounted to had original paint in the hole. The light matches the back up lights. The wire had original style connections like the rest of the lighting and was connected to the dome light at the headlight switch. I reconnected it to the power port that I added in the drivers rear corner.

Thanks Scott! I will shoot you a PM next time I'm in the area, would be cool to be able to check out you and your daughters truck. I usually drive mine when I come down.

I got kicked off earlier, here's a pick of the switch for the light and SAE power port for any 12v accessories that may get used. The power port is tied in with the trailer wiring, so it has a good 12v supply for heavier use items. my spot sprayer will wind up plugged into it along with who knows what else. LOL

Big day! Seats finally arrived! I had to add 3/4” to the factory brackets on the back leg to get the angle right, but they fit great. I did put a slider on the drivers seat, we’ll see if it ever gets used. They really opened up the cab, there is so much more room for storage. I should be able to add a roll bar hoop, which would make me happy. We all know what these trucks do if they wind up on their lid, they get really flat.

I also tried my hand had glueing a headliner in. It has some wrinkles but for my first attempt it thought it came out pretty good. Doing it again I learned a lot that would improve the final product. I did do a layer of dynamat first so it really is getting quieter. The original cardboard headliner was still there but it rattled and made me crazy.

Modded a console today. Should install it tomorrow. Cut 4” off the bottom and cut a notch in the corner for the transmission shifter. Also did a fan shroud
