Next is to make the exhaust system to fit cast manifold. I have got parts for 2 1/4" single pipe all the way. Will this be enough for the 304? From what I could find out, this seemed to be stock size for 304 engines, and I am not sure if there is a need for step up to 2 1/2" pipe from the 'Y' joint where the two sides meet under the T case just before they go into the muffler. I hope the oval TurboFlow muffler is big enough at 16" x 12" x 6".

2 1/4 exhaust should be sufficient for a stock 304
