Who's good at reading MSD LED blinks? HELP!

Just installed a new distributor, wires, coil, and ignition..... When I put the key to the "on" position the LED on my box blinks five times and turns off. The directions say the LED should be steady on when key is in the "on" position. Ive been all over the MSD website and cant find an answer to this !@#$ question! Anyone out there done this before and or know what it means?

I have yet to turn the car over so if need be I can always put all the old stuff back on but id rather not!!



My suspicion is the little red wire (not the batt terminal wire).... The directions say connect to the wires that came off the positive terminal from the coil, ive done this but im not sure its correct.

I don't have an MSD, so I can't compare what you have directly to anything I have. But I would suggest calling them. In my experience MSD has pretty decent tech support.
