You need quite a lot of engineering and testing to make a multiport implementation comparable to OEM multiport engines. Home-brew multiport does not do any better than throttle body.
It's mass air multiport. No dual plane nonsense, injectors in the manifold itself. And if I REALLY wanted to do it right, I'd figure out a custom ITB manifold, but still multiport.

TBI is all well and good, but it's not going to be as good as multiport. And really, the tuning isn't any more difficult than it would be with TBI. It's like still using a pushrod V8 (yes, I'm including the LS in this); sure, you can make it do really well, but you're never going to make it near as good as it could be w/o an OHC--but then you have to make it DOHC, and THEN you have to get variable valve timing...

There are 2 major differences between new Wranglers and FSJs. FSJs are meant to be both utilitarian and capable, not just capable. FSJs are also rarely initially recognized as Jeeps by the average American.

You only gave 2 choices.

I wouldn't use an Edlebrock at all when I can use a Holley :D

Now....which oil should I use..... :-bd
I'm not using a Holley--not for mine lol. Now, if you want a couple more, we have a couple to sell...

I use 10W-40 for its high zinc content, the "right" stuff is probably the Valvoline VR-1 racing oil (which doesn't come exclusively in 20W-50)(good luck getting 20W-50 to turn over up here rn lol). :D

I have the Buick 350, not a 360 AMC, so I'm just using the factory jets/rods/springs setup (the Skylarks could have a factory 4-barrel) because I don't have any mods other than HEI. I'm not super worried about the tuning because of that.

My biggest issue is the price of the Quadrajet parts--if anyone has a good lower piece (throttle body? The piece that just has the throttle shafts/plates) and/or just a good primary throttle shaft, I'm interested...
