1967 wagoneer wiper arms

Post by 123456 »

I have a 67 wagoneer and I want to get rid of the old style wiper arms for the more modern ones with the hook on the end.

Does anyone know if the splines on the post are the same for all fsjs? I was hoping I could just buy arms for a 91 or similar and put them on.

I think they are all the same. There was one arm in bright chrome plate used prior to 1972 or 1973, when they switched to a less reflective type.

You could look at the aftermarket listing (RockAuto?) for the newer arms and see if they also apply to your 1967 Jeep.

I have a set somewhere in the strategic reserve, I need to post a pict of the chrome and the newer style, same inside diameter with a few measurements because of the splines at 0.615"

You will need the extra hook or knub next to the axel shaft, you can see the hole used for the knub with the zip tie to prevent the secondary arm from flopping around.

Otherwise here is the pict

and both wiper arms
