It’s been a while since mine was on the road, but I converted mine to hydro boost, and it was the best-stopping vehicle I’ve ever had. Otherwise stock brakes-in good condition- but also 35s. Only trade off was stiff steering at a stop, which is easy to remedy.

Any info on the hydroboost conversion? Was it a kit or diy

Little bit of both? Elliot on here was doing kits where you had to source your own hoses from PSC. He was using 94-95 Chevy Astro van HB units, a fabricated 1” firewall spacer, and then cutting and putting the fittings on the the hydraulic lines.

There were a few year-specific things to look out for, but all in all, it was an easy conversion and made a huge difference in stopping power.
